Dr. Nieman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery, the Paton Society of the Eye Bank Association of America, and the Castroviejo Cornea Society. Dr. Nieman has been serving as the Medical Director of the Lone Star Lions Eye Bank since 2009 and was recently named one of Austin’s Best Doctors by Austin Monthly Magazine.
